This course is designed to introduce participants to the key concepts in business strategy and aims to provide participants with an understanding of strategy and its practical application in a range of different contexts. The course will develop strategic awareness and strategy skills, and create an awareness of the factors that contribute to successful business strategies in the context of the global economy.
The course should be of interest to anyone who needs to know more about strategic management within an organisation.
Entry Requirements: Any undergraduate degree
Start Date: 26 January 2016
Delivery: This course requires attendance onTuesdays 9.15am - 12.15pm during the 12 week semester (January to May).
Assessment: 50% Coursework, 50% Examination. Coursework is a group presentation and written report (approx. 3000 words) (25% of this mark is allocated to individual contribution). Examination is three hours duration.
