This workshop has been designed to help participants understand and apply the principles of self-regulation to facilitating academic and clinical learning and performance.

All participants will be expected to contribute to the workshop.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

1.  Understand the principles and importance of self-regulation of academic and clinical performance.

2.  Use an understanding of self-regulation to identify problems with academic and clinical performance.

3.  Use an understanding of self-regulation to provide remediation and support of problems with academic and clinical performance.

4.  Develop a personal action plan to introduce  self-regulated learning into their teaching.

 

This workshop has been developed and is run by the Medical Education Unit at The University of Leeds.

 THIS COURSE IS FREE TO THOSE WORKING IN THE YORKSHIRE AND HUMBER STRATEGIC HEALTH AUTHORITY
