Its aim is to broaden participants' knowledge and understanding of how an airline should be managed. The programme includes consideration of cost control, route evaluation and revenue management. The economics of low cost scheduled airlines, and charter airlines are discussed. Strategic issues such as alliance development, marketing changing distribution patterns and airport development are also covered.
