The new TD19/06 Road Restraint System (RRS) Standard does not follow the conventional Standard format and this course introduces those new to the subject, or with limited involvement such as Project Managers, Safety Auditors and Police Officers to the two part process of appraisal and assessment. The new standard is risk based and forms two Parts that must be used together, the written Standard TD19 Requirements for RRS and the Road Restraint Risk Assessment Process (RRRAP), which is software driven.  This course contains practical step by step advice on the risk assessment procedure and the formulation of road restraint solutions, including practical examples on real highway schemes and forms a complementary element of the practical RRRAP Course Part 2.
