The HOSPA Financial Management Education Programme is a flexible blended learning programme aimed at aspiring hospitality accounting professionals who wish to gain the necessary knowledge to be able to manage a hospitality finance department.
The course is studied in 3 stages; each of which takes 5 months to complete.
No formal qualifications are required to enrol, learners shoud preferably work in the finance department of a hospitality organisation, although we welcome applications from analysts, general managers, F&B specialists, and related roles.
Introducing the Financial Management Programme
- First step towards a professional accounting qualification
- Provides skills and knowledge to manage a hospitality finance department
- Leads to HOSPA Associate (Cert Finance) membership of HOSPA on completion
The programme utilises both contemporary terminology and professional examples and is assessed through work-based and academic assessments, meaning learners can apply what they learn directly to the workplace. In addition to their study packs, all learners log into our online classroom with access to subject matter experts, additional resources and the EBSCO online library of academic and business journals.
We recognise the achievements of our students across all three Stages of the course as each year HOSPA hosts its Annual Awards Ceremony where prizes are presented to the most successful learners of the year from the HOSPA education programmes.
