Those working or interested in working in education and children’s services sector.
Online / Distance Learning Course

New 30-credit short course exploring how children, young people and those who work with them, can engage with some of the biggest challenges of our time

This course addresses some of the biggest challenges facing human beings in the 21st Century, namely climate change, biodiversity and land/sea utilisation.

You will consider the impact of these issues on children and young people, both now and in the future, from global, national and local perspectives.

You will explore how sectors working with children and young people can respond, both within their practice and through modelling sustainable approaches, engaging children in these issues and encouraging climate advocacy.

This course has been designed with employers to ensure that it provides the knowledge and skills needed in the education and children’s services sector.
