About this course
We are hoping to deliver this course on Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th September 2022 however due to the ongoing pandemic and wider implications on the RVC we can not take bookings at this time. In the meantime please register your interest with us and we will contact you when the course is bookable.
The RVC is committed to providing a safe learning environment for all our students so we may be required to make changes to course provision depending on the COVD-19 situation in the coming year. We will therefore not require payment until we are confident the course can go ahead. Please register your interest in attending by emailing [email protected]
Do you find surgical procedures of the head and neck a challenge? Create some surgical “head space” with this practical CPD course.
Head and neck surgery can be challenging as the patients can be in respiratory distress (e.g. laryngeal paralysis) or in great pain (e.g. chronic ear disease). We will review the complex anatomy of the head and neck and discuss common conditions such as ventral neck exploratory surgery for traumatic neck injuries such as stick impalement.
Why do this course?
If you have some surgical experience, this course will give you more confidence to start operating on the head and neck. If you are a more experienced practitioner it will allow you to refine and develop your surgical techniques and you will receive valuable tips from our specialist surgical team.
