The Level 5 Diploma in Strategic Teaching Support for Dyslexia and Literacy (DADIP61)
Fast Track Graduate only route

• For graduates holding a degree qualification
• Those who are currently employed (or very recently) in a school or college setting to work with learners with literacy difficulties/dyslexia/SpLD
• Those who can commit to 10 hours of study per week.

All practitioners train using the Dyslexia Action Literacy Programme (DALP).

This route will take one calendar year to complete.

CPD Pathway route – Primary/Secondary or Supporting Adults or International

• Those who are currently employed (or very recently) in a school or college setting to work with learners with literacy difficulties/dyslexia/SpLD
• Primary/Secondary or Supporting Adults or International graduates and non-graduates
• Those who can commit to 3-5 hours of study per week in the first year and 10 hours study in the second year.

This route will take approximately eighteen months to two years to complete.

Accreditation

The Level 5 Diploma (DADIP61) confers eligibility for Associate Membership of The Dyslexia Guild (ADG) recognised as the first grade of professional membership for a specialist teacher/practitioner and approved by The CPD Standards Office.

The Level 5 Diploma is also accredited by the British Dyslexia Association for Approved Teacher Status or Approved Practitioner Status (ATS/APS) and PATOSS for Associate membership.
