This course provides an understanding of the technology used in various healthcare applications. Existing and emerging aspects of this technology are investigated and tools to assist healthcare delivery are assessed. The course should be of interest to those currently working within the Health and Social Care sector within Northern Ireland.
Entry Requirements: Any undergraduate degree

Delivery: This course is delivered online for 12 weeks with no on-campus attendance requirements.
Assessment: 100% Coursework - (1) Production of a vodcast where a topic within Emerging Healthcare Technologies is critiqued (30%) and (2) Development of a Case for Support for the introduction of an emerging technology applied into a healthcare area of the participant’s choice (70%).
