In this online course, we delve into the molecular mechanisms involved, specifically that of Membrane Receptor interactions and secretion of Cytokines. You will also learn about how the Immune System cells, such as Macrophages, Dendritic Cells, Cytotoxic T lymphocytes and NK Cells, fight against tumor cells in the initial stages of cancer, as well as how when Tumor Immunosuppression arises in the more advanced stages, some immune cells such as TAMs and MDSCs become allies of the tumor cells.
