Who should attend?
Teaching leads and headteachers in primary schools across England tasked with improving learning outcomes and preparing children for progression to secondary school and the wider world.
Typically, LifeSavers employs a whole school approach, where the programme is overseen by a senior leader and championed by teaching staff, to lead and monitor the initiative. LifeSavers is already being delivered in 70 schools across England where Champions are a mix of headteachers, deputies, KS 1 or 2 leads and subject leads, so this conference is designed for teaching staff at all levels.
This conference is open to individuals and schools new to LifeSavers and will also provide those delivering LifeSavers the opportunity to strengthen their understanding, share their learning with existing and new LifeSavers schools.

Why should you get involved in the LifeSavers Programme ....
"It’s a very good programme. Our teachers now have the skills, confidence and resources they need, and it’s highlighted to them and us the importance of financial education. I have no doubt that it’s benefiting our pupils and it looks good with Ofsted.”
“The holistic approach of the curriculum and it being a whole school initiative for us has meant that we are seeing the impact.”
“We need to get in there early to increase knowledge, understanding and form good habits. This is so important that it should be the responsibility of the education system to embed financial education into its curriculum and to be a natural part of school life – it is our job to prepare pupils for the future and all the challenges it brings, and money is one of the biggest ones.”
